What is the "Redirect Logs" page for?

Redirect logs list pages that contain links to pages that are themselves redirected, allowing you to correct these links.

Google does not like unnecessary redirections because it wastes Google's time.

In the redirect logs, you will find:

If you have the ability to edit the referring page, your goal is to correct the link found there.

By replacing the target URL with the redirect URL.

Your link will thus point directly to the final page without going through the redirect.
