Why are my submitted URLs returning 429?

If your URLs are returning 429, Indexnow estimates that you are sending too many notifications and cannot process all your requests. To remedy this, you must reduce the daily sending limit in the module's configuration.

However, if your URLs frequently return 429, it is likely that another site on your server is submitting numerous URLs to the IndexNow API and using the quota allocated to your shared IP address. This phenomenon is common with websites on shared hosting servers. In this case, you can wait or contact your host provider.
