Why do the stats shown by the opartstat module not match Google Analytics stats?
There are many reasons.
First of all, we block many robots to avoid unnecessary visits, which is not necessarily the case with Google Analytics.
It is also possible that your Google Analytics tracker is misconfigured.
You must also ensure you are comparing the correct data between the two tools.
For example, compare visitors with visitors, not visitors with sessions.
Ensure that the compared data covers an identical period.
Check in the module configuration that you have not reached the limit of the number of visit lines stored in the database. Once this limit is exceeded, we delete the oldest lines to avoid overloading your database.
Our module tracks very simply.
As soon as a visitor arrives on a page, we record the visit in the database.
It is not possible to say exactly how Google Analytics records visits.
